Qi means life force energy and gong translates to work or skill, so Qigong is energy work. Qigong originated in China over 5,000 years ago. Taoist masters used it as a way to move their muscles after sitting for long periods in meditation, while still remaining mindful.

Qigong Flow is a self healing technique that uses mostly standing postures in flowing movements to release stagnation and blockages in the body and increase body awareness. Using attention and intension to improve the circulation of Qi through the energy channels in the body. Linking these movements with breath allows energy to freely flow through the body to all our organs, brain and nervous system. Qigong teaches us to be in the present moment which releases stress and balances emotions. It is a gentle flowing practice that can be adapted to suit most people so that we can fulfil 100% of our potential, prevent disease and prolong life.

It is a practice suitable for all ages and abilities and can be easily adapted to suit your energy levels and fitness.
